What is grief?

Grief doesn't shrink over time, our capacity to deal with it grows, that means we get "bigger"

Grief grows us and makes us more empathetic.

What is grief?

Grief is the constellation of internal thoughts and feelings we have when someone we love dies. In other words, grief is the internal meaning given to the experience of loss. Mourning is when you take the grief you have on the inside and express it outside yourself.

The 7 stages of grief:

1.Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings. 2. Pain and guilt. ... 3. Anger and bargaining. ... 4. Depression. ... 5. The upward turn. ... 6. Reconstruction and working through. 7. Acceptance and hope.

What does the Bible say about grief?

At difficult moments we always need to rely on a rock to carry us through. Standing sometimes is unbearable.

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Stay blessed
